Olympia Lighting Ushers in a New Era of Flexible Lighting at Light + Building 2026
Frankfurt, Germany — March 2026 — Olympia Lighting made a commanding statement at Light + Building 2026, the world’s most prestigious trade fair for lighting and building technology. Over six days at Messe Frankfurt, Hall 4.1, Booth G39, Olympia Lighting unveiled three landmark series to an audience of architects, lighting designers, industry experts, and peers from across the globe—cementing its position as the definitive leader in flexible lighting innovation.
The response from the international lighting community was immediate and resounding. Visitors crowded the booth throughout the exhibition, engaging hands-on with products that many described as unlike anything they had encountered before. Light + Building 2026 marked one of the most ambitious product showcases Olympia Lighting has ever brought to the global stage.
Video Lighting: Redefining the Architecture of Light in Motion
The most talked-about debut of the show was Olympia Lighting Video Lighting Series—a collection that bridges architectural illumination and high-definition dynamic media.
SFP16 — FLEXIBLE LED VIDEO LIGHTING: HIGH-RES, FITS EVERY CURVE
The SFP16 is a vertical-bending video linear system with individually controlled RGB pixels and 16-bit grayscale resolution, delivering flicker-free, high-resolution video playback across curved architectural surfaces. Its precision vertical-bending engineering maintains constant pixel pitch on any radius, eliminating visual distortion on complex facades. With IP68 protection and superior UV resistance, it is built for enduring outdoor performance.
SFP40 — FLEXIBLE LED MEDIA PIXEL LIGHTING: 3D-BENDABLE, LIQUID VIDEO, GRAND IMPACT
The SFP40 brings true multi-directional 3D bending to media pixel lighting, wrapping grand architectural volumes in fluid, large-scale dynamic video content. Luminous nodes integrated within a continuous flexible body ensure constant pixel geometry on complex surfaces—eliminating the manual alignment demands of conventional point-source systems. Supporting 16-bit DMX512 control with 50mm and 100mm pixel pitch options and rated IP68 for extreme outdoor endurance, it transforms entire facades into high-impact video canvases.
Both the SFP16 and SFP40 are supported by a dedicated in-house developed video controller, which drew strong interest from system integrators for its seamless signal management and fail-safe bypass design.
LINEAR + GRAZER: The Complete Flexible Ecosystem
Olympia Lighting presented its most comprehensive linear and wall grazing portfolio to date, bringing together new-generation construction technology, breakthrough form factors, and a fully compatible product ecosystem. Alongside the headline launches highlighted below, the full breadth of Olympia Lighting 2026 LED Linear Flex and Wall Grazer range was on display—spanning indoor, outdoor, underwater, sauna, and architectural grazing applications.
New Generation PVC Dual Injection-Molded LED Linear Flex raised the bar for underwater and pool applications, with a seamless connector that precisely matches the flex body’s dimensions—eliminating bulky connection points and delivering flawless waterproof integrity and uniform illumination.
3D Bendable LED Linear Flex In-Ground Kit—crafted in 316L stainless steel and achieving IK10 and IP68 ratings—drew sustained crowds throughout the week. Its ability to mirror the SF28’s simultaneous vertical and horizontal bending makes seamless ground-level illumination of organic curves and complex landscape geometries a true engineering reality.
Flexible LED Wall Grazer Series was showcased in full for the first time at a major European trade fair. The SFW20, the world’s first honeycomb flexible wall grazer, alongside the 01 Series (AW01 + LW01) and 06 Series (AW06 + LW06), demonstrated the power of a unified optical system shared across flexible and rigid grazer counterparts—enabling perfectly consistent illumination across both curved and straight architectural surfaces within the same project.
48V Flexible Lighting: Engineering the Future of Large-Scale Projects
Olympia Lighting 48V Flexible Lighting Solutions Portfolio directly addressed one of the most persistent challenges in large-scale architectural lighting: voltage drop over distance. With max single feed lengths up to 171 meters—against a conventional 24V system’s 10-meter limitation—the platform dramatically simplifies wiring topology, reduces driver count, and cuts installation costs on grand facades, bridges, and infrastructure projects. Operating within the internationally recognized SELV standard, it delivers both project efficiency and inherent electrical safety. The 48V platform is not an incremental improvement. It is a structural rethinking of how flexible lighting integrates into large-scale architecture.
Olympia Lighting — Make Reliable Products Only.
14 Years. One Focus: Flexible Light. Since our inception in 2012, Olympia Lighting has remained steadfast in a single pursuit: the mastery of flexible lighting technology. Light + Building 2026 was the clearest expression yet of where that pursuit has led—and of the distance that 14 years of focused engineering, proprietary manufacturing, and relentless product development can create when a company commits to one direction and never wavers.
We extend our sincere gratitude to every architect, lighting designer, distributor, and industry professional who visited Booth G39 at Messe Frankfurt. The conversations held, partnerships formed, and creative possibilities explored during those six days will shape the projects we illuminate together for years to come.
